WHO ARE WE?
The Middle Tennessee Christian Athletic Association (MTCAA) was started to coordinate the athletic relationship between Nashville Church of Christ congregations. Its primary mission is to facilitate a basketball league each year for the young people of these congregations.
In addition to athletics, the purpose shall extend to motivate Christian fellowship and behavior. The development of character, integrity, sportsmanship and teamwork shall enhance the Christian personality to grow as Jesus grew – “…in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and man.”
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Any congregation in the Middle Tennessee area may participate. Priority will be given to congregations of the Churches of Christ. Applications for membership must be in the league office by October 15th. Applications are taken on a first-come first serve basis. Teams in each division may be limited. All new applications must be ruled on by the commissioner(s).
WHAT ARE THE AGE GROUPS?
There are four divisions:
Junior Girls (6th - 8th grade)
Junior Boys (6th - 8th grade)
Senior Girls (9th - 12th grade)
Senior Boys (9th - 12th grade)
